The 41st edition of EIMA International, the large international agricultural and gardening machinery exhibition being held in Bologna from 12 to 16 November, is turning out to be a record-breaker.
The event’s organiser, Italian agricultural machinery manufacturers’ federation FederUnacoma, has already declared the display space to be “sold out”. This booked space amounts to 150,000 square metres, and represents the best result in the history of the exhibition, which is seeing a significant increase in the number of participating companies (around 1,800), as well as the display area they will be using, compared to the 2012 edition. The event’s international nature is also of great significance: as of today, over 570 foreign companies from 44 countries are already confirmed; this number is set to increase, but already beats the previous record from the last edition, which saw 558 exhibitors from 41 countries. EIMA International is also notable for the number of foreign attendees, who numbered 32,000 out of a total of 196,000 from 122 different countries at the last edition. The organisers’ expectation for the 2014 edition is to exceed a total of 200,000 visitors, further increasing the foreign contingent thanks in part to a publicity campaign which this year focussed on countries considered to be of strategic interest and particularly promising for the agricultural machinery market.
At EIMA 2014, Kohler Engines will be presenting the latest step in the development of the KDI family by launching the KDI 3404 model. This new engine will be unveiled on the stand during a press conference to illustrate its innovative technical characteristics which will provide benefits for manufacturers and end users.
